In complicated terms, things get more...complicated.

Kevin and Carl are two of the assholes and misanthropes that populate The Annex, Toronto's trendy, somnabulant, and tree-lined student ghetto. After a period living in close proximity (don't read into that) they figured that their lives contained enough golden material to make for a pretty good sitcom. In as much as sitcoms can be 'good', that is.

Kevin is an English specialist at U of T from Bedford, Nova Scotia. That's in Canada.
Kevin can survive with very little direct sunlight. He's quite good at In The Groove, Street Fighter, and better than Carl at the games they can both play. Most of the board games in the house are Kevin's.

Carl is an Art History specialist (with a minor in Stats!) at U of T from Edmonton, Alberta. That's also in Canada.
Carl grows best in large, sunlit rooms. He sings all the goddamned time, usually pretty well. Carl saw over 50 movies in theaters last year.
